About

About

Wu Dao Academy is committed to preserving and promoting the traditional Chinese martial arts of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Kung Fu. Our mission is to provide authentic training experiences that nurture physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. We offer in-person and online classes, private sessions, and immersive workshops to suit a variety of learning preferences.

Founded by Elisabeth Raudales, a seasoned practitioner with a lineage of esteemed masters, Wu Dao Academy emphasizes a holistic approach to martial arts education, focusing on strong fundamentals and deeply rooted techniques. Our teaching reflects the traditional way martial arts were transmitted: not limited to one fixed style, but guided by universal principles that exist across classical systems.

Whether students practice Tai Chi, partner work, or traditional forms from different Kung Fu systems, the focus remains consistent. We train structure, coordination, sensitivity, internal connection, and practical application. Movements are not taught as choreography alone; each exercise is explored through its martial function, body mechanics, and relationship to partner training. Principles from push-hands, internal body method, and classical combat training are integrated so that every practice supports genuine skill development.

This approach allows students to understand movement more deeply and apply it across different practices, while staying rooted in authentic tradition. Rather than collecting techniques, students gradually cultivate qualities that become part of the body: balance, efficiency, awareness, adaptability, and inner strength.

Alongside our traditional martial arts program, Wu Dao Academy also offers Embodyin Women's Qi Gong, a dedicated practice created to support women's health, vitality, and inner balance. Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taoist cultivation, these classes combine gentle Qi Gong, breathwork, mindful movement, and feminine embodiment practices to help women reconnect with their bodies, restore their energy, and cultivate lasting well-being.

At Wu Dao Academy, we are committed to empowering individuals through the ancient wisdom of martial arts. We continually strive to enhance our students' journey by offering a blend of traditional teachings and modern resources.

Join our community to embark on a path of self-discovery, discipline, and personal growth. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, Wu Dao Academy welcomes you to explore the profound teachings of Chinese martial arts.
